Scope of Policy
Minors
While Artree offers educational services aimed at preschool-aged children, only a parent or legal guardian may create an account to gain access to our paid content, enroll in free classes, or otherwise interact digitally with Artree to support the child’s education.
If you are below the age of 16, you may use our Site(s) only with the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a minor, please do not provide us or other website visitors with any personal information and do not use this website. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
Terms of Use
If you choose to create an account on our Site(s) as a registered user, this Policy applies to you. The Policy also applies to anyone browsing the Site "anonymously" by not creating an account or signing in. This Policy is part of the Terms of Use for the Site.

Artree’s online learning solution is provided by Thinkific Labs Inc. which is a Canadian company. The data is stored in the United States. In accordance with Thinkific’s Privacy Policy (https://www.thinkific.com/privacy-policy/), Thinkific may transmit your personal information outside of the country, state, or province in which you are located.
No matter where your Personal Information is collected, used, transferred or stored, if it was collected through this Site, it will be protected by the terms of this Policy.

Children's Online Privacy Policy
Along with our general Privacy Policy, Artree recognizes the need to provide additional privacy protections to children under the age of 13. We are required by law to inform you, the parents and legal guardians, about if and how we may collect, use, and disclose personal information submitted by your children under the age of 13.
If you do not agree with this Children's Policy, please do not use the Site or enroll your child in the Site's educational activities.

Does Artree collect any personal information from my child when registering on the Site?
No. In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") (https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaking-regulatory-reform-proceedings/childrens-online-privacy-protection-rule), Artree allows only parents or legal guardians to register on the Site and enroll in classes on behalf of their children under 13 years of age.
The personal information entered into the registration form is limited to the name and email address of the parent or legal guardian. The personal information entered into the payment form is limited to the necessary details of the payment method holder in order to successfully process the payment.
Does Artree collect any personal information from my child when using the Site?
No. Artree does not collect any personal information from your child. If a lesson includes a quiz or a similar assignment, the answers should be limited to answering the specific question. We do not ask for your child's name, email address, physical address or any other personal information directly from your child. If, for some reason, your child enters any such personal information, Artree will use reasonable measures to delete such personal information from all records.
Does Artree collect any personal information about my child from me?
Yes. You as the parent or legal guardian may choose to include your child’s personal information (for example, first name or age) when communicating with Artree teachers, or when posting your child’s art as photos in our discussion boards and communities. Your agreement to this Privacy Policy serves as a verifiable parental consent or verifiable legal guardian consent to disclose your child’s personal information.
What if Artree decides to collect personal information from my child in the future?
Artree does not anticipate this to happen. However, in the event it does happen, Artree will obtain verifiable parental consent from you before collecting any personal information from your child under the age of 13. Artree will also provide you with the choice of consenting to our collection and use of your child's information for internal purposes, but prohibiting us from disclosing that information to third parties for other purposes. You will have the right to access your child's personal information and to review and/or modify and delete such information.

We will also collect payment information, such as credit or debit card details. Please note that enrollment fees are processed through a third party payment processor, Stripe.

Third-Party Vendors and Subscribers

For example, we may share Personal Information with companies that provide credit card verification services and Web hosting services. These third-party vendors may need information about you to perform their functions. Please note that Artree’s online learning platform is currently provided by Thinkific, and payments are processed via Stripe.
We do not share with, or sell to third party advertisers any Personal Information.
Business Negotiations/Transfers
We may contemplate, for strategic or other reasons, selling, buying, merging, or otherwise reorganizing our business. In negotiating with a third party about entering into such an arrangement, we may need to disclose your Personal Information.
